COMPOSITIONAL INFORMATION

This product poses minimal hazard to humans and the environment when used for placing concrete in a typical site or plant casting operation.

ROUTE(S) OF EXPOSURE AND HEALTH EFFECTS

EYE CONTACT:  May cause mild irritation.
SKIN CONTACT: No known adverse affects.
INHALATION: May cause mild irritation.
INGESTION: No known adverse affects.
CARCINOGENIC: No ingredient in this product is listed as carcinogenic by IARC, NTP or OSHA.

FIRST AID PROCEDURES

EYE CONTACT:  In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention if irritation persists.
SKIN CONTACT: In case of contact, flush skin with plenty of soap and water.  Get medical attention if ill effects develop.
INHALATION: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. 
INGESTION: If swallowed, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.   Dilute contents of stomach with 3-4 glasses of milk or water.  Never give anything to an unconscious person.  Get medical attention.

FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES AND EXTINGUISHING MEDIA

This product is not combustible.  Water spray, foam, carbon dioxide, or dry chemical may be used in areas where this product is stored.   Protective clothing and pressure-demand, self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn by all firefighters in areas where this product is stored.  Plan fire protection and response strategy through consultation with local fire protection authorities or appropriate specialists.

STABILITY: Stable
HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: Will not occur
INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS: Oxidizing materials, acids, bases.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, silicone dioxide.

SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES

Wipe, soak up in inert material.  Scrape up and put in a container for disposal.  Wear proper protective equipment as specified in the Protective Equipment Section.  Warn others of spill.   Disposal should be made in accordance with Local, State and Federal Regulations.  Incineration recommended.


PROTECTION INFORMATION

EYES:  If eye contact is possible wear safety glasses or monogoggles.

SKIN:  PVC or rubber gloves and protective clothing should be worn.

VENTILATION:  Local exhaust is recommended.

RESPIRATORY:  No special requirements.

When transported by ground in 1 gallon bottles, 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums, or 275 gallon MegaPaks, packaged and sealed by Cresset Chemical Company, this product requires special hazardous information for shipping papers, container, truck and driver.  See Cresset for details.
