This product poses minimal hazard to humans and the environment when used for placing concrete in a typical site or plant casting operation. SAFETY:
These materials are non-toxic (OSHA CFR 29).  OSHA, EPA and DOT define these materials as nonflammable.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS GENERALLY AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: None known to occur.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

FIRST AID: Flush skin or eyes with water.  If overexposure from inhalation is thought to occur, remove to fresh air.   If ingested, call a physician.
PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING: Keep from freezing.   Keep container closed when not in use.
OTHER PRECAUTIONS: Common sense and good manufacturing practice should be used at all times.

FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES AND EXTINGUISHING MEDIA

Foam, water spray (fog), dry chemical, carbon dioxide and vaporizing liquid type extinguishing agents may all be suitable for extinguishing fires involving this type of product depending on size or potential size of fire and circumstances related to the situation.  Plan fire protection and response strategy through consultation with local fire protection authorities or appropriate specialists.   Self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing should be worn.

SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES

Flush small quantities with excess water.  Larger amounts should be absorbed onto appropriate material, (e.g. sawdust).

Dispose of contaminated product and materials used in the cleaning of spills or leaks in a manner complying with Federal, State and Local regulations.


PROTECTION INFORMATION

EYES:  Safety glasses are recommended.

SKIN:  Use impervious gloves if repeated or prolonged contact is expected. 

RESPIRATORY:  None usually required.

VENTILATION:  General mechanical ventilation is recommended.


DOT and EPA (Not required for MSDS)

When transported by ground in 1 gallon bottles, 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums, or 275 gallon MegaPaks, packaged and sealed by Cresset Chemical Company, this product is not regulated by the US-DOT.
