COMPOSITIONAL INFORMATION

This product poses minimal hazard to humans and the environment when used for placing concrete in a typical site or plant casting operation. SAFETY:
Flammable aerosol. 

ROUTE(S) OF EXPOSURE AND HEALTH EFFECTS

EYE CONTACT:  Liquid and vapors cause eye irritation.
SKIN CONTACT: Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause irritation.
INHALATION: High vapor concentrations may cause respiratory tract irritation and narcosis.
INGESTION: This product is expected to be toxic by ingestion.

FIRST AID PROCEDURES

EYE CONTACT:  Flush with water for 15 minutes.  Obtain medical assistance if irritation persists.
SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water until no odor remains.
INHALATION: Move person to fresh air.   If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen, obtain medical assistance.
INGESTION: Get medical attention immediately.

FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES AND EXTINGUISHING MEDIA

Alcohol foam, water spray (fog), dry chemical, and carbon dioxide type extinguishing agents may all be suitable for extinguishing fires involving this type of product depending on size or potential size of fire and circumstances related to the situation.  Plan fire protection and response strategy through consultation with local fire protection authorities or appropriate specialists.   Self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing should be worn.   Flammable liquid and vapor.  Vapors are heavier than air and may travel along the ground or may be moved by ventilation to an ignition source and may flash back.

STABILITY: Stable
HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: Will not occur
INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS: Strong oxidizing agents.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide upon thermal decomposition.

SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES

Prevent ignition, stop leak, ventilate area, contain spill by diking or impounding.  Add sand, earth or other suitable absorbent to spill area.  Wear respiratory protection for large spill, leak or release.  Prevent product from entering sewers, storm drains, surface waters and soil.


DISPOSAL METHODS

Dispose of contaminated product and materials used in the cleaning of spills or leaks in a manner complying with Federal, State and Local regulations.


PROTECTION INFORMATION

EYES:  Use splash proof chemical goggles or face shield when eye contact may occur.

SKIN:  Impervious gloves are recommended.

RESPIRATORY:  Use with adequate ventilation.  Ventilate as needed to comply with exposure limit.  In the event of vapor concentrations exceeding the time weighted exposure limit use a NIOSH approved cartridge respirator or gas mask.


DOT and EPA (Not required for MSDS)

When transported by ground, by common carrier or by UPS, this product requires ORM-D Label.
