3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Basic Use: Super-Strip "AquaBlend" is a water dilutable Form Releaser.  Properly diluted, it permits easy, stain-free removal of forms, formliners, etc. from hardened concrete. It:

Even when 10 times more than required is applied:

Limitations: a) Not recommended for forms or formliners made from expanded polystyrene, SBR, or natural rubber or latexes made of these. Use Crete-Lease 20-VOC on any form or formliner. b) Not recommended for use on absorbent forms, e.g., B/B plywood.  c) Concentrate is unharmed by freezing.  If diluted material freezes, remixing completely renews it.  d) Rain and other types of precipitation will wash Super-Strip "AquaBlend" off treated forms.  e) Fresh concrete continually placed on a spot of a form will wash off the "AquaBlend" in that spot.

Ground Shipping in the USA: Containers holding 275 gallons or 55 gallons or 5 gallons or less (regardless of quantity) are not federally regulated and shipping product in the Cresset package does not require following hazardous shipping requirements.

Applicable Standards: Super-Strip "AquaBlend" Form Releaser meets U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers CE-204, Section 7.10 and CE 1401.01, Section 17.4.  Meets California SCAQMD Rule 1113-90 for VOC regulations.

5. APPLICATION
Preparatory Work: Form surfaces should be clean, dry and free from contaminants. Apply Super-Strip "AquaBlend", properly diluted, just minutes before concrete is placed or up to 7 days before if treated surface is protected from precipitation.

Dilution: See Dilution Chart. (Note: Incomplete mixing and faulty measuring are the most common causes of inconsistent results.)

Dilution ratios: Mix 1 part (by weight or volume) of Super-Strip "AquaBlend" with 4 parts water for a good general purpose release agent that produces excellent concrete surfaces.  Mixing at ratios of 9 or 10 parts water or more causes sticking.

DILUTION (Mix Well)

Concentrate Water Ratio
1 gal in pail      plus 4 gal = 4:1
10 gal in drum     plus 45 gal = 4.5:1
55 gal in MegaPak  plus 220 gal = 4:1

Stability: Once mixed with water, freezing or time (about 3 months) may cause separation.

Super-Strip "AquaBlend" concentrate is very stable.  It does not separate.

Methods: Your choice of application methods will determine the final appearance of the concrete.  Use Release Method when a form release is the primary concern.

Release Method: Apply with any type applicator or technique.  Use a sprayer, roller, brush, or mop.

Too much release agent will cause bugholes and "wormtracks" and an increased difficulty in stripping.

Notes to Specifier/Applicator:
1.  Sprayers designed for applying sealers and curing compounds typically apply 10 times the needed Super-Strip "AquaBlend". They are not recommended for producing good looking concrete surfaces.

2.  Air entrained concrete often produces better looking surfaces than concrete without air entrainment.  If superplasticizers are used, be sure air entrainment at the time of placement is as specified (probably around 6%.)

Storage: Factory sealed containers will keep up to 2 years at temperatures from -20°F to 140°F (-30°C to 60°C).  Super-Strip "AquaBlend" is a class 3A liquid for purposes of meeting OSHA storage requirements (Section 1910.106).

Store drums horizontally or in a position to prevent standing water from collecting over the bungs.

Precautions: Keep out of reach of children.  Avoid prolonged contact with the skin.  Use with adequate ventilation.  See Material Safety Data Sheet for additional information.
