Composition: A proprietary blend of phosphoric acid. Contains no silicones or carcinogens.
5. APPLICATION
Preparatory Work: Use gloves. Scrape off loose rust
from form.
Application: Brush or roll on and work into pitted areas. Leave on for about 10 minutes. Rinse with fresh water.
Repeat if any rust or concrete build-up remain on form. For heavily rusted items, can leave it on for longer times since it has little effect on unrusted steel.
Though it provides its own rust protection, it is somewhat temporary. Paint it within a day or coat forms with Cresset's Store-Cote RP-6 Rust Preventative (which is compatible with concrete form release procedures) for longer lasting protection.
Leaving it on for too long many cause it to harden. To remove,
just work in a little more Form Cleaner 240. Wipe it off painted surfaces
immediately, as it removes some paint.
